{What I'm Wearing: Top—Forever 21, Jacket—Anthropologie "Openwork Army Jacket" (shop),
Jeans—J Brand "Love Story" (remixed), Belt—Target, Earrings—flea market, Heels—Marc Fisher}
Being back in suburbia for the summer has posed a bit of a problem for my style. You see, I still dress like I live in LA, even though my surroundings have drastically changed. And while this may not be a problem for going to work or my internship, I do look a little weird running errands around town in flared jeans and heels.

Exhibit A: I wore this outfit (with my new army jacket that I never plan on taking off) on a hot date to Target. Andrew needed a belt and I was in desperate need of some sandals (I snagged these Steven Madden lookalikes) so we decided to make a night of it.

Was I a little overdressed? maybe. Did I care? absolutely not.

Dear self: welcome (back) to suburbia...

  1. I can understand why you never want to take that jacket off -- it is perfection on you!! Great outfit. :)
