A New Favorite

What I'm Wearing:
Shirt: Madewell
Denim Jacket: Heritage 1981
Jeans: Anthropologie "Pilcro Stet Slit Crop" (shop)
Head Scarf: vintage
Earrings: Nordstrom Brass Plum
Belt: Nordstrom Brass Plum
Flats: Old Navy
I got these pants from work about a week ago, and they are quickly becoming new favorite in my closet. They are bright, comfy, and can instantly make any outfit more exciting! I decided to pair them with a plain tee and denim jacket to keep my look clean and simple. However, I rediscovered this fun head scarf in one of my drawers while I was back home this weekend, and couldn't resist throwing it into my outfit to add more color and give it a little bohemian-vibe.

Although I sometimes complain about not being able to bring all my clothes with me to school, it's actually a blessing in disguise. This is because, when I finally do come back home, all the clothes I had to leave behind seem brand new again—something that is very good for someone like me who shops for new clothes too much...

And while my new favorite orange pants may actually be new...this scarf feels like a new purchase to me!

Happy Tuesday!

  3. Adorable outfit! I love those colors together. Funny I did a red-white-and blue outfit this week, with a jean jacket, but my shirt was red and the skirt white. :-) Love the red jeans. I have a pair too, and I want to wear them every day!

  4. Such a simple but great look! I am all about denim jackets lately and I love it paired with the colored denim. The head scarf is a perfect accessory. ~Visiting from WIWW~

  5. oh I so LOVE that these jeans are the right length for you! You look like we're about the same height and I can almost never find pants that are the right length. LOVE your headband and earrings - I really need to go for it and try something like that - I tend to be way too minimalist for my own good :)

  15. funny thing is...they are actually meant to be cropped pants that hit above the ankle for taller people. But they work as ankle length pants for someone my height! haha

  16. Love these jeans! I have been looking for a coral or pink pair of denims for a while now. Your styling is perfect with the jean jacket and scarf as a headband, very nice.
