I have a little to-do list going of all the areas in LA I want to see before I graduate, and these past few weeks I have been beginning to conquer that list. This Saturday, Andrew and I had an afternoon date filled with delicious red velvet pancakes from The Griddle in West Hollywood and a matinee showing of 21 Jump Street at The Grove (both of which were amazing!).
It was fun to drive around, eat delicious food, and ignore all the assignments and readings I have looming over my head. Plus, we managed to find a random parking garage that had a pretty good view of the Hollywood sign at the top.

Even though I was not the biggest fan of LA when I first moved here, after venturing into more of the city, LA may or may not be starting to grow on me...
I miss the Griddle! So yummy :) Loving the skirt!
ReplyDeletethank you! and yes it was so good...they give such huge portions!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE red velvet pancakes and your mint skirt, Melina! So adorable! I'm from L.A., and don't really want to live there again. But it's nice to see all the historical and famous sights! -Jessica

You look adorable. I just found your blog, and I LOVE it. I just bought a black pleated skirt like the mint one you are wearing here at Goodwill. I've been wondering how to wear it--now I know! I would love to link to this post from my blog when I wear the outfit you inspired. Is that cool?

ReplyDeleteHi, I saw you on the pleated poppy and I really like your outfit. You reminded me of when I went on a vacation to LA. I would love it if you linked this post up to my fashion party.
