Second Thanksgiving

What I'm Wearing:
Sweater Dress: Nordstrom BP (here)
Scarf: vintage
Belt: Target
Tights: Target
Boots: Nordstrom BP
I wore this to a second Thanksgiving dinner with my boyfriend's family. Unfortunately, I quickly learned that a stiff leather waist belt and turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing do not mix. The dress didn't look quite the same without the curve-creating belt. However, I believe the day-after-Thanksgiving feast managed to create a few curves on its own...

  1. What a cute print! I've been searching for a good sweater dress but I've been looking for solid colors. You sweater dress makes me re-think the solid color bit. I love it with the belt, but I totally know what you mean about the belt not mixing with a meal.

  7. Yeah I definitely wore loose clothes on Thanksgiving for that very reason :) And I have a few extra curves now myself :)

  11. Cute, cute combo. And yup, the belt...maybe not such a great idea on Thanksgiving, but it sure looks good with the dress!
