Second Thanksgiving

What I'm Wearing:
Sweater Dress: Nordstrom BP (here)
Scarf: vintage
Belt: Target
Tights: Target
Boots: Nordstrom BP
I wore this to a second Thanksgiving dinner with my boyfriend's family. Unfortunately, I quickly learned that a stiff leather waist belt and turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing do not mix. The dress didn't look quite the same without the curve-creating belt. However, I believe the day-after-Thanksgiving feast managed to create a few curves on its own...

  1. What a cute print! I've been searching for a good sweater dress but I've been looking for solid colors. You sweater dress makes me re-think the solid color bit. I love it with the belt, but I totally know what you mean about the belt not mixing with a meal.

  2. thanks! this same exact style is also sold in sold colors on the Nordstrom Brass Plum website if you are interested!

  3. You look darling! Hope you had a lovely holiday.

  4. LOVE that sweater dress! It looks so cozy & cute.

  5. I am in love with this sweater dress. It fits you really well, and the belt does a great job of keeping the shape.

  6. I love this outfit, it looks so Thanksgiving! I hear you about the belt and turkey dinner though, I made the same mistake on Thanksgiving!

  7. Yeah I definitely wore loose clothes on Thanksgiving for that very reason :) And I have a few extra curves now myself :)
    Love your scarf!

  8. I love your blog! And your sweater dress! : )

  10. so cute! I have a sweater dress like that and I wore it for Thanksgiving as well! lol :)
yes and I completely agree.. it looks so different without a belt! love the pattern on the dress :)

  11. Cute, cute combo. And yup, the belt...maybe not such a great idea on Thanksgiving, but it sure looks good with the dress!

Visiting from WIWW, and I'm your newest follower.

Would love for you to stop by for a visit!
