...by "adventure" I mean finding the one open field in town and taking pictures outside its fence.
I wore this outfit to Sunday brunch at a nearby Mexican restaurant, Taco Rosa. The food was delicious and it was also an excellent excuse for me to dress up a little more than usual.
Initially, I wasn't sure if these two bright colors and bold textures would work well together...but I feel like they created an unusual feminine and retro look. I got a few strange looks at brunch, but I felt great in my outfit...which is all that really matters.
I also just like wearing this cardigan, because I'm always reminded of how I—through some amazing miracle—snagged it at my store for $9.95. It was a piece from last fall that I had obsessed over, but could never bring myself to pay full price for. Fast forward about a year, and this cardigan (in my size) somehow ended up being returned and finding its way into my loving and welcoming closet.
To add to the adventure, I managed to get myself stuck in a gutter full of snails. The picture on the right? the face of true fear. Sad to say... it actually is candid.
I love the colour of your dress <3 And the pleated detail is gorgeous!
