I wore this outfit to an interview the other day. Being a college student, I don't have too many opportunities to dress up like this. So, when the occasional opportunity arises, I love to dress professionally and pull out my rarely worn, but very loved black pumps and blazer. I also love this pencil skirt because it is polished, yet unique and quirky at the same time.
Looking at myself in this outfit gives me a little glimpse into my future. While I love college, I also can't wait to start my future career and explore the work world...
That skirt is perfect! It's a great mix of professional and fun. I had an interview last week too and I had to dress up for the first time in a while. It was nice and a bit worrisome since I was on my 30 for 30 challenge but I made it work! :)

ReplyDeleteI have that skirt as well, but in the redish/pinkish/orangeish version. I had to size down two sizes for it fit, but the waist still gapes. :( But it's an easy alteration... hoping I can alter it soon. I can't wait to wear it!
ReplyDeleteYou look fab, dear!
xx Love& Aloha
yeah mine is a bit big. There were only a few sizes left in the blue/green so I had to buy a slightly bigger size. I ran it through the dryer though and it shrunk nicely!
ReplyDeleteps. thank you!
