Seeing as I have class from 9am-6pm every Thursday, I have quickly learned the art of layering. This may look like three outfits...but I promise it's just one. It's chilly in the morning, temperate during the day, and then freezing at night, so I have to dress for all occasions.
Luckily, I chose comfortable and versatile pieces for my long day on campus. This is the second time I have worn this dress (and first time I have blogged about it) and it's already becoming one of my favorites. It's soft, comfy, and warm...all good qualities to have in my {clothing} book. With this dress as my base, all I had to do was throw on a loose cotton sweater, weathered denim jacket, and long scarf to create a functional layered outfit, good for any time of the day!

Thank goodness its Friday! And I really, truly mean it. Happy weekend everyone!
Such a nice print on that dress! And yes, I definitely have made use out of layering in college. Some classrooms are known to be cold or stuffy & you always have to take into account the weather outside. But you've done it in a great and cute way!

Oh, I love the dress on you! I was thinking about adding it to my collection of dresses but today I wore my Southward Stop Dress and I realized it was similar in terms of color.
