One of my good friends saw my handbag and told me it looked like an old fashioned doctor's satchel. Doctor's satchel or not, it's big and polka-dotted, so I wear it proudly. I've actually had this bag for quite some time, but it never seemed to make it into my blog photos. So, Dr. Polka Dots, here is your big blog debut!

Also, please excuse my lack of posts for the past few days. It's the new year and work has slowed down, so I haven't really had much to dress up for. But don't worry, you haven't missed much. Just a few frumpy outfits involving my yellow sweatpants, UGG boots, and this polka-dotted bag. AKA: me looking like a crazy bag lady.

Little Red Dress

I love polka dots, especially ones that are are a little different from classic black and white ones. Therefore, I was naturally drawn to this little red dress. Normally, I would have thrown a denim jacket over it, but I was getting a little bored of the same dress-and-jacket combo. So, as a replacement, I decided to pull out my cardigan that I got from the Target children's section last year. Same look as the women's one...but $10 dollars cheaper = a good deal in my book.

Anyway, you might recognize the field from this post. We decided to go on a little drive and wound up back at this field on the outskirts of town. It's one of the few open spaces left in suburbia and the perfect place to walk around and take pictures.
